God is still there with you....PRAISE him!

Good Afternoon.  I pray that life has been manageable for all of you, I've been feeling like a new puppy treading water (barely staying afloat).  lol  Last night I decided that I could not be consumed by every little imperfect detail of life or every plan that isn't happening the way I want it to.  In these moments it is easy to shift your focus from the things of God to the things of man.  In many instances at this stage of my life it tends to be my family, health or career but regardless if stand more firmly on God's word and study the word deeper in the tough times rather than studying the situation the end result will be a smoother transition. God didn't leave us to figure out life alone but he however never promised we won't have it hard from time to time.  He did promise that he will never leave us nor forsake us!  This scripture stands firm in my heart this moment and I will lean on his love as he guides me. So today I tell you to be encoura...

The Positive Side

Well hello again.  Some months ago I felt my heart urging me to find a more POSITIVE mental Me.  Just to give you a little background of my decision was the need to lead a life with less stress and communicate more effectively.  I have found myself speaking extremely critical of myself as well as situations even those in which I had no involvement.   I also had major issues finding the positive in situations yet no issue finding a complaint.  See people this is not where God stands….God's word says:  Do all things without murmurings and disputings:  That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world. Philippians 2:14-15 In making a step in the right direction I challenged myself to go three (3) days without complaining or criticizing.  Each moment I did I attempted to correct myself by replacing my negative speaking with POSITIVE speaki...

Happy New Year

Well hello…it’s been too long but I have a couple thoughts for you all.   Today is the last year of 2015 and although many find it to be cliche to reflect as something comes to a close I find it to be healthy.   So today I reflect on my year and with great joy I am ecstatic with my personal growth; spiritually, physically, emotionally and financially.   See I am a person that is known to over plan but this year I consciously tackled my year in small increments.   Each month I planned to be a better me by different means and with the help of God it was one of my most successful plans ever.   This year I learned to trust in God more than I had ever trusted him before.   I leaned on him for even the small things and was able to witness breakthroughs in my life that I’ve been waiting on.   I have never felt more comforted in trouble times, more resilient to my pain and joyfully rich even when my bank account said I should feel different.   Se...

It's a Celebration!!

Well I haven’t had the opportunity to blog in several months with life taking a toll on my time and health yet I found that there is no better time than now to dive back in.   So here goes…..I sit here reflecting on this day as this is the last day of the school year for my daughters and I find it to be an emotional day yet I am trying to count it all JOY. See I am very internet active (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Web Searching….whatever lol) and I have read several comments that many parents find it ridiculous to have so many graduations for young children.   For example many preschools have a graduation from VPK, then they graduate from Kindergarten, from elementary school (from 5 th grade), from middle school (8th grade), then high school graduation.   To an adult that has accomplished each of these steps these may seem to be minor accomplishments and you may not understand why these are celebratory events yet to a child that has only had the opportuni...

Join the movement {Mommy back-to-school organization}

Well with my children on a vacation to visit my great-aunt I decided I would try not to miss them too much by staying busy.   My husband and I took photos of just the two of us that were much needed for our bedroom and had a mini date night.   It was definitely an interesting beginning since I missed the kids so much I wanted to just lay in bed and talk to them on the phone.   Can’t wait for them to come home but I’ve definitely been productive preparing for back-to-school; I’ve gotten most of my school shopping done (including supplies), the MommyMobile (aka Honda Odyssey) cleaned inside and out, progressing through my house deep cleaning one or two rooms per day and lastly diving head first into learning to begin extreme couponing.     The MommyMobile was my first assignment that I figured I could tackle on my lunch break boyyyy what was I thinking.   I was successful in cleaning everything very good excluding the two front door panel pockets and...
